How to text us - and my upcoming Glengarry Glen Ross show

Jeffrey B. Snyder, CFP® |

Two main items for this post:

1.  You can now text our firm, in a compliant-fashion, at 860-657-3000.  PLEASE - if you have my cell phone number, do not text that number about anything business-related, as I am not permitted to converse in that fashion via that method, as has always been the case.  We have invested in another platform where the business number above can receive a text, and we will check it frequently, though I have to say by force of habit a phone call or email will probably remain the best way to get our attention.

2.  Many of you know I dabble in theatre outside of the office, and I’m proud to say I am moving up in the world with my next show.  Fourteen days from now I am within the ensemble staging David Mamet’s “Glengarry Glen Ross” at the Autorino Great Hall at the Bushnell in Hartford.  The room seats about 225, and I am both one of the main characters (if you’ve seen the famous 1992 movie of the same name, I am playing Kevin Spacey’s character) and one of the two producers for the show.

There are four shows, Thursday 2/22 @ 7:30 PM; Friday 2/23 @ 7:30 PM; Saturday 2/24 @ 2:00 PM; and Saturday 2/24 @ 7:30 PM.  Concessions are by Max Restaurant Group and the entire show with intermission runs less than 90 mins.  For tickets, please use https://bushnell.org/shows-concerts/glengarry-glen-ross or you can save some fees physically buying from the Bushnell box office.

While an amateur production, this is the most talented ensemble I’ve worked with on a non-musical, and we endeavor to provide a professional-quality experience for our patrons.  Thank you in advance for your consideration of attendance.  Please note: there is VERY salty language in this production.  Mature audiences only, for that reason.  If you’ve ever wanted to see me lambasted on stage with no lines of retort, NOW is the time!
